A young, black, astrophysics student at an all-white university makes a scientific discovery that turns the world upside-down. He calls together life-long friends from high school and presents them with an ambitious and unimaginable plan for the future. Over time, he gathers together other like-minded African American to share in his dream of a community without the deprivations or distractions of white America. Together, they create technical and medical marvels more advanced than any that exist in America, or anywhere else on Planet Earth. No one anticipated what would happen when an unsuspecting America discovered their existence, and then tried to confront these extraordinary people at their lunar doorstep.
