Description
Othello, a noble Moor, has a lieutenant, Iago, who is insanely jealous of Othello's success and higher rank. At every turn Iago plots to exploit Othello, undermine his trust in his wife, and deceive him into an all-consuming jealousy. Iago's successful conniving results in Othello smothering his wife. The treachery is revealed only after the murder. Othello wounds Iago in a vengeful fight, then kills himself.
