After hours in bumper-to-bumper traffic, amidst a heat wave, Franc̦ois and his angsty children finally arrive at a remote village in the South of France. But the tranquility of their stay is quickly compromised by an unnerving phone call from his wife, coupled with the sudden disappearance of Hermione, the family dog--who isn't the only missing canine in the area. After one false move, Franc̦ois finds himself caught up in a small town mystery of deceit, infidelity, and murder.
