Description
Everyone in Yorktide, Maine, knows sixteen-year-old Sarah Bauer. She's a good student, a dutiful daughter, and Cordelia Kane's best friend. It's a surprise to all when Sarah reveals that she's pregnant. Her family is shocked but supportive. But while Sarah reconciles herself to a new future, the consequences ripple in all directions. Sarah's mother seizes on an idea: band together and make a baby quilt. Piece by piece, a beautiful design emerges as the women who create it find strength in the friendship and love that sustains them.
