The Book of Szen began as a series of short messages that appeared in our company's internal e-mail newsletter. Every week I would recap the company's activities and add some bits of news that I thought our staff would find interesting. Over time I began to add inspirational quotes and words of encouragement. This evolved into writing original light-hearted, funny or inspiring stories about situations and people that I knew.

Start anywhere you choose. Many of the stories are true, while some are fictionalized, or based on actual or imaginary events. All of them are written to make you think, smile and hopefully be inspired. They must work because it inspires me to share them with you. I hope you enjoy them!
