However, his indomitable spirit and his strong desire to achieve no matter the adversity carried him into and through the toughest of life's challenges. His life so simple, his accomplishments so great, and his faith so strong brought him, at age eighty-nine to pen his story for his posterity in written words that, to those who knew him, sound just as he spoke.
